Managing Your Parts Catalog

Keep a parts catalog so you can search materials into quote line items instead of retyping names and prices.

Open the parts catalog

1. Go to Settings → Catalog.
2. Open the Parts tab (or Open parts from the overview).

Add or edit a part

1. Click Create Part (or the create control labeled Part).
2. Enter Part Name (required).
3. Optionally add a Description and a Price (what you usually charge — used as the suggested unit price on quotes).
4. Save with Create Part. To change an existing part, click its row, edit in the sheet, and Update Part.

Use Search parts... to find items by name. Deleting a part asks for confirmation and does not rewrite quotes that already used it.

Use parts on a quote

1. Open a Draft quote’s Items tab.
2. Search the parts catalog and pick a part — QuoteBolt fills description and unit price from the catalog (you can still edit the line).

What happens next

1. Editing quote line items
2. Quote defaults and labor rates
3. Send your first quote

Good to know

• There is no separate Services catalog tab — labor rates live under Settings → Quotes.
• Catalog Price is a suggestion on the quote line; change it per job anytime.
• Custom lines still work when something is not in the catalog.
