Before You Delete

Deleting your QuoteBolt account permanently removes your business data, including all quotes, invoices, contacts, and payment history. This action is irreversible once the grace period ends.

If you're having trouble with the product, check our FAQ or contact support — we may be able to help.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Go to Settings → Security.
  2. Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
  3. Click Delete Account.
  4. Confirm by typing your email address and clicking Permanently Delete.

You'll receive a confirmation email when deletion is initiated.

The 30-Day Grace Period

After requesting deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:

  • You can still log in and access your data.
  • No new charges are made.
  • Your account is flagged as pending deletion and is not visible to new users.

After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

How to Cancel a Pending Deletion

Changed your mind? You can cancel the deletion any time before the 30-day period ends:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. A banner will appear at the top of the page indicating your account is pending deletion.
  3. Click Cancel Deletion in that banner.

You'll receive an email confirming the deletion has been canceled and your account is restored to normal.

What Happens to Your Data

Once the grace period ends, the following is permanently deleted:

  • Your business profile and all settings
  • All quotes, invoices, and payment records
  • All contacts, companies, and properties
  • All jobs and appointments
  • All team members associated with your account

Stripe payment data is subject to Stripe's own data retention policies and may not be immediately deleted.
