Create an Invoice

Create a blank QuoteBolt invoice from Invoices. Add a contact and property, then fill line items and send when ready.

1 min read

Create a blank invoice when the job did not start as a quote, or when you want a fresh draft instead of converting an accepted quote.

Create a blank invoice

  1. Go to Invoices.
  2. Click Create Invoice.
  3. Choose Create Blank Invoice.
  4. Pick a contact and a property. The contact needs an email or a phone number.
  5. QuoteBolt creates a Draft invoice and opens it so you can add line items, tax, discount, notes, and a due date.

Prefer converting a quote?

If the customer already accepted a quote, convert it instead of starting blank. That copies line items and customer details for you.

Convert a quote to an invoice

What happens next

  1. Send the invoice
  2. Understand invoice statuses
  3. Connect Stripe for online pay

Good to know

  • QuoteBolt assigns invoice numbers automatically (for example INV-0001).
  • From the invoice you can edit details, download the PDF, send, void, or delete — matching the actions on the invoice page.
