Connect Stripe to Get Paid Online

Connect Stripe in QuoteBolt so customers can pay invoices online with a card.

Connect Stripe

1. Go to Settings, then Payments.
2. Click Connect Stripe.
3. Finish Stripe’s Express onboarding (business details and payout bank). Stripe opens in a secure flow, then returns you to QuoteBolt.
4. When setup is complete, Payments shows Connected.

If setup is unfinished or blocked

• Resume Setup — you started onboarding but did not finish.
• Fix Account — Stripe needs more information (restricted or disabled).
• Update Bank Account or Complete Bank Setup — payout details still need work.
• Refresh Status — re-check status with Stripe if the page looks stale.

After you are connected

Send invoices as usual. Customers open the invoice and use Pay Now to pay by card. QuoteBolt starts Stripe Checkout when they click pay — not when you send.

On Payments you can open Manage details on Stripe ↗ for bank and business details in Stripe.

Good to know

• You can still send an invoice before Stripe is ready. QuoteBolt may ask Send without online payment? — choose Send anyway (no online pay) or Set up Stripe.
• Online pay is for invoices. Public quotes use accept or decline, not Pay Now.
• There is no Disconnect button in QuoteBolt. If the account is removed in Stripe, Payments can show Account Disconnected; connect again to resume.
